My Place Hotel-East Moline/Quad Cities, IL

Brand new hotel. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Nice to have a full-size refrigerator. The full desk staff was very pleasant. The area where the hotel is located near the river and the whole area is new. There are a few restaurants close, but as the area becomes more developed, additional services will help.

Originally I was going to be staying at the MyPlace in Davenport during my trip in March 2024, but then I seen this MyPlace for a lower price and made the decision to go down there! Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, and close to activities! I will say that the railroad near the entrance is pretty active, but I never had a problem getting a good night's rest! Overall, it's a great value and I could not recommend them enough!

Our room and experience here in late November 2023 were exceptional, and that is compared to having stayed at hundreds of Hotels/Motels. First, the building is brand new (hence the few reviews); the room was very large with a couch, stove, microwave, mid-sized refrigerator and extra sink. The location was within 5 minutes walk of the path on the Mississippi river and adjacent to empty fields where our two dogs could run and chase each other. The staff was also exceptional pleasant and helpful. A gas station with decent food is just a 1/4 mile away. It didn't hurt that perhaps the best Mexican restaurant we have ever eaten at (although atmosphere as lacking) "Adolph's Mexican Food" was just 2 miles away; other restaurants are also within 2 miles. Importantly, the dog fee was only $10 (or maybe $20) while the better known hotel next door charges $70 for a dog. We will definitely be back there.

Great customer service. Would be able to stay a while with ease - full fridge, stovetop, microwave and toaster. Bring your own equipment though - skillet, spoons etc… Beds were comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.

Great place to stay, very new facility, rooms are big and equipped with everything you need, like a small kitchenette with fridge, freezer, microwave, 2 burner stove top, sink. Fully reclining chair, pull out desk with shelf. Iron and board with laundry basket! Shower with body wash, conditioner, shampoo. Comfy bed and four pillows. Quiet room. The area is quiet with only another hotel and gas station nearby. Next door to expo center. Close to walking trail along Mississippi River and parks. Would diffently stay again.

I had a really great experience at this hotel, was almost here for two weeks for work. Maquita at the front desk provided over and beyond customer service not only for me but with other guests from my observation. She was bombarded but handled all the guests checking-in/visiting for the concert with a positive and friendly attitude. My Place hotels would put Candlewood Suites and these other extended stay hotels out of business. Hope they continue to expand nationwide!

This hotel is an undiscovered gem. The hotel is brand new, and even though you can see it online, people have yet to discover it. I was blown away by the quality of the premises given the price of my room. What makes this hotel so special is that they have trimmed away all the bells and whistles AND cut the cost to match. BUT, a tremendous amount of thought was given to details so that you don't feel cheated without the bells and whistles. For example, the desk staff stops what they are doing and turns to face you and greet you when you enter the lobby - terrific hospitality! The elevator is a whisper glide unit, so you don't even know you're moving. The lights in the bathroom a super bright. There is no floor joint between the hall and the bathroom to trip over in the middle of the night. The bathroom sink faucet and toilet flush are noiseless, so you don't wake up your roommates in the night. There is no ice maker in the hallway because the ice make is in your refrigerator! Every bed has a soft, plush throw in case you want to nap and don't want to mess up your bed. The pillows are full size and are a mix of firm and soft so you can choose according to your personal comfort. HUGE amounts of details addressed, and just the right ones so you feel like you're staying in a luxury hotel but without all the fuss and added cost. I will stay here every single time I'm in the area, without hesitation. PERFECT STAY!

We were in town for the Hennepin Hundred (50 mile) race. This was a nice location, friendly staff and very comfortable room with full size refrigerator, a stove top and recliner. It was 15 min from the finish of the 50k and 100 mile races and 1 hour from the 50 mile finish.

Felt more like I was in an apartment with all the amenities of this room. Full-sized refrigerator and freezer. An actual kitchen sink, complete with dish soap for dishes and cupboard space for storage. A 2 burner stove top for those who enjoy cooking in-house and staying in as opposed to dining out all the time. The bathroom was gorgeous and conveniently offered shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. It felt like we were old friends in only moments instead of the basic front counter/customer interaction. The little store in the lobby was one like I haven't seen before. It offered anything you could need for their beautiful home-like rooms. Just a couple of the of services they provide are the option of making ice ahead of your stay and having it waiting in your freezer, or making it for yourself. Gone are the days of bacteria-breeding ice machines. (Strictly my opinion on those things) My second favorite was "Breakfast in bed". Upon check-in, you can opt-in for a hot breakfast to be delivered personally to your room. I love this. Now staying in your pajamas a little longer on vacation is completely acceptable!! If you are looking for an excellent stay with a truly money well-spent feeling, My Place is your place. Be there, don't miss this experience! It will set a new standard that leaves other hotels pale in comparison.

My Place Hotel – East Moline is a clean and comfortable place to stay. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, with a kitchenette that’s useful for longer stays, though it’s worth noting that utensils are not provided. The bed was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Staff were friendly and helpful during check-in and throughout the stay. The location is convenient, especially for nearby events, and parking was easy. While dining options within walking distance are limited, the hotel offers good value for the price. Overall, a solid option for business travel or a short stay in East Moline.
